LISYS Lighting Systems Studio Corp. was founded in 1990 by Hungarian engineers dealing with lighting since long, and by a Belgian company having great reputation in the international world of lighting.

The activities of the company comprise all fields of creating various lighting and sound equipments, and cover all relative engineering works - designing, execution, contracting, measuring, operating - plus commerce of the necessary lighting and sound materials.

Lighting is a special profession and science, which is present in all areas of our modern life. Its special character is that - apart from "clean" technical knowledge - one has to make use of the results of numerous fellow sciences, and one has to have disciplinary knowledge in their fields. Like architecture perfects itself in the symbiosis of the humane and real knowledge, thus similarly, creating lighting - a "architecture of light" - is based on synchronous contemplation of humane and real factors.

The fundamental philosophy of Lisys: System conscious creativity

During the functioning of our company, in every year we have dynamically increased our turnover compared to the previous year, and we had profit in every year. Our sales revenues in 2007 exceeded 2,35 billion HUF, while the number of our staff during this 15 years increased for the original 5 to the present 42.

Using our own resources we have built our nearly 1000 m2 building of offices and established our warehouse base as well.

We have compiled a collection of approximately 2000 items consisting of professional books and periodicals considered curiosities, which is constantly supplemented in the interests of doing high standard work.

Based on the activity and organization of our company we were awarded the quality assurance certificate based on ISO 9001/2000 standard.

In everyday work, Lisys relies on a wide-scale network of international relationships. We are in constant contact with more than 50 foreign companies, partly in the form or regular cooperation - distributor activity - and partly we are exclusive representatives of some companies in Hungary.

Our engineers also play an active role in the national and international professional civil organizations. We take part in the work - in some cases, in the work committees - of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association, the Hungarian Lighting Association, C.I.E. (International Lighting Committee), in preparing technical recommendations, reports, standards. We also play and active role in the Technical Committee of OISTAT (International Association of Theatre Technicians, Architects and Scenics).

Our significant international relationships also help our company to have a pioneer role in introducing in Hungary a number of new, frontline techniques and technologies. Here we can refer - among others - to the most modern stage lighting and electroacoustic solutions, to the mobile crown high mast area lighting systems, to the decorative lighting equipments using miniature xenon light sources, or to the drivable color changing LED applications for both indoor and outdoor lighting purposes.
